Love my Matiz and wish - also want a convertible! Is that a little greedy?!

Now I've started blogging again (after several years away) it's become really addictive! It's like the perfect way to channel all my thoughts and send them out into cyberspace! At the moment I'm waiting for a call about my little Matiz which is currently at the garage having its annual MOT. It's an amazing little car so I'm not that worried about it but just wish I'd given it a little more love and TLC recently, since I started my new job I don't need to drive as much anymore so I think my Matiz may be feeling a little unloved at the mo!

Thinking about getting a new car, as much as I love my Matiz, Stuart thinks it would be a good idea for me to get a new car since I've had the tangerine for such a long time, about 8 years!

Currently looking at either a used convertible like a Mazda MX5 - probably the soft-top version rather than the MX5 roadster, a Peugeot 206, a Vauxhall Tigra or a used Ford Street Ka.

Although I must admit I am a little torn, if I go for one of the above cars, they only have 2 seats. Whereas, if I go for something like a Ford Focus Coupe Cabriolet or a Vauxhall Astra Twintop, I'll have the convenience of 4 seats and a little extra space but may lose a little of the sporty roadster type look. Not sure, methinks a test drive this weekend might not be a bad idea! While I'm test driving though, I don't think I'll be able to resist the temptation to try a new style Matiz and also the Chevrolet Spark looks pretty awesome - may have to give that a whirl! It's almost summer and I've never had a convertible before but I'm a little way of the great British Summer so lets see if a convertible will be the best idea or whether to go for a practical and sensible new Chevrolet.

Yep, just checked the window and it looks like rain! Good sign so far! :)
